7. Student Performance on Discipline-Specific Competency Exams

In many programs at Missouri State University, students are required to take discipline-specific standardized exams to demonstrate their mastery within those disciplines. The primary assessment tools used for this purpose are the ETS® Major Field Tests, the Area of Concentration Achievement Tests (ACAT), and The Praxis Series™. In addition, some Missouri State students must take certification or licensure exams in order to gain employment in their fields. Students in certain programs are required to pass these exams prior to graduation.

Data is updated each fall.

Note: Fiscal Year 2012 refers to Summer 2011--Fall 2011--Spring 2012.
